Welded Wire Mesh is made out of straight, drawn wires of steel or stainless steel. At their crossing points wires are firmly joined by means of electrical resistance spot welding.
Due to its immovable junction points welded wire mesh has an extremely high stability and inherent rigidity. An uniform distribution of power is obtained by means of the multitude of welding points. The variety of possibilities to combine mesh sizes and wire diameters allows an individual adaption to each purpose of application, up to panel sizes of 6 x 2 m.
Welded Wire Mesh is manufactured with projecting wire ends (=overhang) on all sides (as with our Standard/Stock-Mesh e.g.). Upon special request welded wire mesh is available without projecting wire ends (=closed mesh or flush edges), as well. Border Meshs can differ from the regular mesh distance, e.g. if you need certain overall sizes with special made grids.
With the wire strands welded at each intersection, welded wire mesh is more capable of maintaining its shape when stressed.
Welded wire mesh's may be galvanized or hot-dip galvanized, plastic coated or zinc coated for best corrosion protection.
